First Burn Matters
Let the candle burn until the entire surface melts during the first use. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn every time.
Trim the Wick
Keep the wick trimmed to 5mm (1/4 inch) before each burn. This maintains a steady flame, reduces soot, and extends the candle’s life.
Burn Time
Avoid burning the candle for more than 2 hours at a time or until it reaches the base. Allow it to cool completely before relighting for optimal performance.
Safe Placement
Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, flammable objects, and out of reach of children and pets.
Care for the Vessel
After the candle has cooled, wipe the Jesmonite vessel with a soft, damp cloth to remove any soot. Repurpose the vessel as decor or storage to embrace sustainability.

- Trim the wick to 5mm before each use.

If your wick is struggling to stay lit, it may be too long or have excess burnt wood. Trim it to around 5mm and remove any charred wood before relighting. A properly trimmed wick ensures a steady flame and even burn.
